Major assignments Reflection
Narrative:
Writing my narrative has helped me use details and words that I don’t usually express. My narrative has helped me express my feelings about my headscarf and how it is viewed. Furthermore, it has let me connect to the concepts we learned in class and that is forming single stories. I chose to write about my day in the mountains. I wanted to express my feelings and this project was the most suitable for me to our out the details of this day. While writing my narrative, I have learned how to write the conversations that happen between people. Additionally, it has helped me express how other’s feel by the way their expressions are and their gestures.

Inquiry project
Composing my inquiry project influenced me in a big way. This is the first time that I have connected many sources to one topic in a stylish manner. It gave me an outlook on how everything can relate to one another. For example, my subject was on how Muslims are portrayed in America by the media and how the media has a major influence on how people view Muslims. There were many websites and sources that connected to this, but I had to go and fish for the sources and write about it. I had to read an entire piece and pull out important information that related to my topic. I enjoyed this very much. Not only have I read articles, but I also watched many videos and read actual books. From this project, I learned how to look into deeper issues. I also learned how to rhetorically analyze sources such as news segments. This Project has taught me how to connect and analyze sources to my topic at the same time. Finally, I think that this project was one of the main projects to influence my writing as well as the digital composition aspect for my writing class.
My blogs
My blogs were an important aspect of my writing in my English 1102 class. Some of the blogs were like the zero drafts that I have learned in my writing class. Others were very analytical aspects of my big projects. Furthermore, my blogs have taught me how to digitalize a piece and they have taught me new tricks while working with the WIX site. They have created opportunities for successful “big projects” such as the inquiry project. I loved working on my blogs because they were like journals and they have taught me how to compose and write in a proper way.
